When we tested | August 2020 | August 2020 |
Summary | Mailpix, Rtizpix, and Winkflash are one and the same. We found their prints to be better than CVS and Walgreens. | While Office Depot has potential to be a convenient local photo lab option (there are only a few such as CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart), it falls short. Locally, the print quality is terrible: The prints are more of a postcard or cardstock print, not a photo lab print. Several of our test prints had visible flaws, such as the balloon print. The color has an orange glow. Their online prints are far superior in vibrancy but the use far too much packaging, while also being the most expensive shipping of all we tested. |

Mailpix envelopes
When you order photos from Mailpix, here's what you can
expect the envelope to look like.
![A white vertically placed catalog envelope with two large flaps at each end. The flap at the top has a shipping label with black text stuck on it. The return address is “WINKFLASH.COM, SHIPPING MANAGER, 221 MAIN ST. SUITE K, HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA 92648.” It has a blurred QR code by the side. Some cm below is the shipping address, it reads, "SHIP TO:" and then a blurred shipping address. An inch below is a line of blurred text, under it, a text reads, “Consignee Reference: 158.” There is some shipping information in a rectangle that runs to each end of the label, a thin line separates the two parts. A bar blurred QR code sits at the left, the right part has text that reads, “UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS, MMID #: 801300204905853359, [there is some blurred text here], COST CENTER #: 158.” The bottom right left corner has some reference numbers, and right across it, is a sticker of about 2” in length and 1” in height with its content blurred.
