Pricing, shipping, paper quality, and other juicy details

When we tested August 2020 August 2020
Summary Shutterfly and Snapfish are two very similar services. We found the Snapfish quailty to be better than Shutterfly by a longshot. CVS is convenient and quick for local photo printing. After Walmart, their photos scored the best quality for local pick up. Strangely, the quality for their online photos is slightly lower than ordering locally. For online ordering, we suggest Walgreens over CVS.

When you order photos from Snapfish, here's what you can
expect the envelope to look like.

Teal envelope positioned vertically. Fairly minimal design. White stripe across the top about 1” down and 1” thick. In the center o the white stripe is the Snapfish logo which is a teal fish with a black eyeball and black fin with “Snapfish” sans-serif text next to it. Below the white bar it reads “Happiness WITHIN” with Happiness in a cursive font and WITHIN in all caps, san-serif. The rest of the envelope is plain teal. Envelope sitting on wood table top.
