When we tested | August 2020 |
Summary | CVS is convenient and quick for local photo printing. After Walmart, their photos scored the best quality for local pick up. Strangely, the quality for their online photos is slightly lower than ordering locally. For online ordering, we suggest Walgreens over CVS. |

CVS Photo envelopes
When you order photos from CVS Photo, here's what you can
expect the envelope to look like.
![A white catalog with some orange visible on its left side. The envelope is positioned vertically on a wooden surface with both flaps sealed. A shipping label is stuck at the top sealing the flap. On the left side of the flap is the return address, it reads, “CVS/PHOTO, SHIPPING MANAGER, 10550 EWING ROAD, BELTSVILLE, MD 20705.” A blurred out QR code is next to it. Below is the blurred out delivery address, and it starts with the text, “SHIP TO:” Further down below is a text that reads, “Shipping Reference: 4720102321246,” and “Consignee Reference: 70” and they are stacked on each other. Below are two horizontal parallel lines that run to the end of the label, with a thin vertical line dividing them into two parts. The left part has a QR code, the part on the right has text that reads “UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS, MMID #: 802339204514330385,” some blurred text under this—the tracking number I presume. Under, is a text that says “COST CENTER #: 70.” Below the parallel line, on the right, is a tiny text that reads, “CMU 13.5 Datamax.” A white postage sticker is on the bottom right-hand corner, partly stuck on the envelope and part on the shipping label. Most of its content is blurred out, the only visible text says “Forwarding Service Requested.” The slightly transparent postage stamp has text in the box that reads, "US Postage Paid, UPS Mail Innovations.” The sticker also covers a text that reads, “CVS Pharmacy, Photo” which is printed on the shipping label. To the left of the postage is blurred out text. Above the postage sticker, and to the right side of the shipping label is a large text printed in red. It reads, “You're on the go. So are we!” Right under are some text in small fonts that say, “Order prints from your phone anytime anywhere and pick them at any CVS/pharmacy (registered) in an hour. Download the free CVS/pharmacy app and get... [the remaining text is covered by postage sticker.]” All the text on the shipping label and postage sticker are printed in black. Envelope sitting on wood table top.](https://s3.amazonaws.com/herman-cat/photoprintingnearme/scans/envelopes/cvs_online_envelope_front.jpeg)
