Summary While Office Depot has potential to be a convenient local photo lab option (there are only a few such as CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart), it falls short. Locally, the print quality is terrible: The prints are more of a postcard or cardstock print, not a photo lab print. Several of our test prints had visible flaws, such as the balloon print. The color has an orange glow. Their online prints are far superior in vibrancy but the use far too much packaging, while also being the most expensive shipping of all we tested. Walmart is the best photo lab for local pick up. They've recently started using a type of lab called a "dry lab" which produces extremely vivid images. Walmart's one-hour turnaround is also the quickest when compared to other local options like CVS, Walgreens, and Office Depot. Walmart's local pick up photo quality is surprisingly better than ordering online.
